To achieve its goals and implement its programs, Al-Kawakibi Democracy Transition Center (KADEM) adopts a technical approach based on expertise and experience in all fields of democratic transition. Its activities are targeted at all those who are involved in democratic transition processes and initiatives, including politicians, parliamentarians, government representatives, judges, lawyers, civil society representatives, journalists, and all who work on issues of public concern.
To promote peer-to-peer expertise transfer, KADEM organizes field visits by a limited number of local actors to countries or institutions (in the Arab region and elsewhere) having experience in relevant fields of action. The Center also contributes to the organization of scientific academies jointly with its Arab and international partners. It receives missions and working groups from countries seeking to take cognizance of the Tunisian experience. Mention can be made, in this context, of the election monitoring missions to Tunisia and other Arab countries.
