As part of its action in support of independent public human rights bodies, Kawakibi Democracy Transition Center organized a training session on “Ways to avoid administrative and financial mismanagement errors”. The session was held on February 28-29, 2020 in Golden Tulip Mechtel hotel, Tunis.
The training was attended by a number of accountants and finance representatives of several independent public bodies. The session was moderated by Ms. Fadhila Gargouri, a judge, in the honorable Court of Accounts. This course represents part of series of training courses conducted by Kawakibi Center as part of its work on “the financial and administrative management of independent public human rights structures”.
The training represented an opportunity to familiarize the participants with terms on ways to avoid administrative and financial management errors when practicing their duties, public deals, provision of materials, disposition of agents, leasing, movable and immovable properties. The session also included a practical part through several applied activities.
Participants found the training highly interesting and beneficial; they expressed their willingness to follow up on this collaborative initiative in order to build up their capacities in this field of practice.
