In partnership with the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EuroMed Rights Tunisia), the Danish Institute for Human Rights, Dignity-Danish Institute against Torture and Kawakibi Democracy Transition Center, the periodical coordination meeting of the coalition of Independent Public Human Rights bodies was organized on June 27-28, 2020 in Hammamet. It was held with the participation of presidents and heads of independent public bodies and representatives of its councils.
During the meeting, a discussion was held on challenges that are currently facing these bodies and possibilities of joint cooperation between the partner structures and organizations,. In addition to that, there was an emphasis put on the legal and communicational aspects as it represents the real challenges for the coming period.
In fact, the meeting was also an opportunity to present future activities and mechanisms to further enhance coordination.
