During this meeting, the organizers held a presentation on Security and JusticeDialogue project. Added to that, they presented the methodological and technical perception of Kawakibi Center on this project.
In the same context, the attendees presented their questions to understand the project and its importance for the region. Thus, there was an emphasis put on the Ministry of interior’s cooperation to succeed the pilot experiment in the governorate of Ariana, as it is the first experiment of its kind outside the scope of the ministry’s intervention in the community-police program.
Furthermore, the dialogue session sheds the light on security challenges in the region, in addition to the civil society’s perception of the way in which the dialogue will be included.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their support and willingness to cooperate with the municipality, local authorities and security forces within this initiative, which aims at improving police-community relations, and creating solutions to local security challenges in the region.
