Given their importance in nascent democracies and in countries in transition, elections represent one of KADEM’s main areas of action. In this regard, KADEM works with civil society and with governmental actors across the region to support free and fair elections.

With its technical approach, KADEM, aided by prominent experts from the region and beyond, develops a number of initiatives and activities on election monitoring, legislative drafting and political finance control.
